Heavily involved with analogue electronic design, as well as testing and verification. Leading a team of engineers designing, testing and qualifying test equipment for Martin-Baker’s products. Knowledgeable of RTCA/DO-254 Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware.

Employed as a Development Engineer within a close collaborative team. Was responsible for operating and servicing a calibration table for fibre-optic navigational gyroscopes. Was heavily involved in evaluating and redesigning product designs to make them more efficient, reliable and cheaper to build. Involved in PCB design, fault finding, writing up test procedures/reports and occasional software and firmware coding. Was solely responsible for upgrading a wireless audio/video system used for naval applications. Involved with both electronic and mechanical improvements to ensure the product continues to compete in a challenging market.

Employed as an Electronic Engineer within the Subsea Product Development Group. Member of the project team designing a new generation Subsea Electronic Module (SEM6/Vectus) from concept design to release candidate. Was directly responsible for flexi-rigid PCB design, revisions, and verification testing to comply with complex changing project needs over a four year period. Regularly participated in design reviews, project meetings, and project reviews with hardware and software engineers. Responsibilities included writing and conducting test procedures to ensure product compliance with international petroleum test standards.
